The Plutocrats are Coming
Trangresion1Join the Democratic Socialists and supporters of “Equality” at 6:30 this evening at the KTAO Concert Club: Bernie Sanders, America’s Last Best Hope, Debates the Wall Street Clinton Gang tonight on Television.

On Oct. 10, The New York Times, in an article by Nicholas Confessore, Sarah Cohen and Karen Yourish,  outed the “overwhelmingly white, rich, older” males, who are members of “Just 158 families, along with companies they own or control [who] contributed $176 million in the first phase of the campaign, a New York Times investigation found.” Bernie Sanders is an avowed grass-roots democratic socialist (like George Orwell).

2.Demaciadas LeyesThe Times continues: “ Not since before Watergate have so few people and businesses provided so much early money in a campaign, most of it through channels legalized by the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision five years ago.” And this in “a nation that is being remade by the young, by women, and by black and brown voters.”

In this economically determined system, the value of life has been commodified and privatized by the Plutocracy (rule by the wealthy). Citizens have been transformed into consumers or ciphers, mere (sentimental) statistical units. The Plutocrats, who control the corporate media, have unleashed the forces of divisiveness in order to control the populace” : rich v. poor, white v. black or brown, straight v. gay, right v. left, the armed v. the unarmed, the stoners v. straight people, Taosenos v. everybody else.

Even among the political hacks in the House of Representatives, who signed on for the job, courtesy wealthy donors, chaos reigns. And chaos is the signature song for today’s ode to violence.

Crimen1The killing fields include places affected by weather extremes due to the lust for short-term profits from the oil, gas, and coal industries. The gun merchants and fly-by-night privateers have turned the Mid-East into blood. And the arms merchants have turned schoolyards into graveyards.

A politicized justice system disproportionately imprisons the black and brown man (unless outlaw cops shoot them first). Judges and juries condemn the innocent and prison officials ineptly execute the guilty. The POTUS cries in Roseburg over the recent killing of “9” innocents by an armed idiot, while the military forces under his command and control kill “22” at a hospital, voluntarily managed by “doctors without borders.”

The republican right has produced a “clown car” of candidates while the Clinton gang, who signed off on deregulation (pulling the teeth of Glass-Steagall, which made millionaires and more out of banksters) and who gave us NAFTA or the freedom to export jobs, now want a second shot at the White House. The wealthy elite turned the former Arkansas Bubba and Chicago Yuppie into members of the mere $100 million dollar class of retirees. Now Hillary and Bill want to come back and double-dip.

As likeable as is the democratic President, Barack Obama, he has reigned at a time when the rich have gotten richer and inequality has grown and deadly violence, including planet-wide warming, threatens God’s green earth and the domicile of all human beings. Across the aisle madness has erupted in a republican party that has withdrawn its moral support for governing.

continue. Bernie’s been talking “socialist shop” i.e. the redistribution of wealth and real regulation of markets since his Brooklyn to Vermont days. The extremists on the right want El Trumpo to build a wall, talk tough, and carry a bigger stick than the bogeyman, Vladimir Putin. Hilary speaks in the tones of vacuity, opportunistic language wrapped up in abstract phrases, dedicated to nothingness. Bernie utters timeless arguments in favor of justice and equality: not a new deal but a better deal than the ass end of the trickle down deal. Let’s give economic justice a chance. Listen to Bernie.
