Standing Rock: A Symbol of the First America

Contrary to campaign promises, Trump, a virtual populist and successful merchandiser, is appointing “known” right-wing extremists to cabinet positions, who represent the expansion of class warfare. Begun during the Clinton administration, and continued by the Bush and Obama administrations, the squeeze on the middle, working, and lower classes is accelerating under Trumpism.

We citizens, who find ourselves on the floor of this grass-roots movement to take back our country must stick a pin in the bubble and pop it! Take off our blinders. We are being mugged in plain sight.

The Trump appointees aim to privatize Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, ignore climate change, increase surveillance, decrease health care, reduce wages, reverse social gains for people of color, LGBT communities, and the white working class, while pummeling immigrants and imprisoning free speech advocates.

Suicidal white supremacists i.e. the “elites” promote oil and gas as antidote to green energy: the Koch Brothers, Exxon, and the vicious thugs of law enforcement who masquerade under color of law in North Dakota. The Dakota pipeline represents Manifest Destiny II, as the elite seek to torture Mother Earth for her black gold while polluting aqua es vida.

Except for accelerating global warming and climate change, everything is fine.

Obama has imprisoned more whistle-blowers under the espionage act than all other presidents just as he has deported and/or imprisoned more “illiegal” immigrants than all other presidents. Obama has promoted the private use of a “kill” list under the President’s public purview. He has blatantly targeted American citizens and foreign nationals for assassination.

As American Imperialists regress on social issues, they promote inequality and suck the last few dollars of disposable income out of the populace. Below the 1% or .1 of 1% everybody is a target for a takeover by Trumpism. The Washingtonians want all the money to drain into their swamp.

Neither hope nor despair but “reality” must guide our guerrilla tactics in response to this ongoing coup by the .1 of 1%. The movidas are as obvious as the “noses on your faces.”

De Facto Leaders

Said Sanders and Warren:

“During the campaign, Donald Trump told the American people that he was going to change Washington by taking on Wall Street,” Sanders and Warren said in a rare joint statement.

“Donald Trump’s choice for Treasury secretary, Steve Mnuchin, is just another Wall Street insider. That is not the type of change that Donald Trump promised to bring to Washington – that is hypocrisy at its worst.”

Elizabeth Warren said: “The American people didn’t give Democrats majority support so we could come back to Washington and play dead,” she said. “They didn’t send us here to whimper, whine, or grovel. They sent us here to say no to efforts to sell Congress to the highest bidder. They sent us here to stand up for what’s right. Now, they are watching, waiting, and hoping—hoping we show some spine and start fighting back when Congress completely ignores the message of the American people and returns to all its same old ways.”

In effect the structure of the democratic party might remain but the decadent Clinton leadership from Nancy Pelosi to Howard Dean and Barak Obama must be purged and/or ignored. While news reports suggest Macedonian teens planted fake news stories, the real culprits are corporate networks and cable news shows. Your favorite progressive pundits on MSNBC and zealots on Breitbart News have all betrayed the promise of the American Dream. While crowning Clinton and promoting Trump, the pundits ignored the real American, Bernie Sanders.

The American Dream refers to human rights: equality for all in the eyes of God and man. You can’t have social justice without economic justice under the capitalist or socialist scheme.

Except for the show, how was your evening Mrs. Lincoln?
